Sheilding herself from the wash of sand and dust US Army Captain Twila Peterson sits on a dirt mound as the CH-47 Chinook takes off. The Chinooks are used to shuttle personnel and equipment from Camp Doha and Camp Udairi  in a run referred to as the log(logistics run) run. The Chinook is knicknamed Big windy for the amount of wind it produces with two large three rotor blades.
